Good morning! Look who we saw this morning... he was curious, not frightened... although I must admit we were watching him through the window. He stayed quite a while. We snapped lots of photos. Then his mommy came and he was gone! Oh dear. Today is the first day of bow season. I hope this Bambi survives. He is just too cute.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the comments on this pic! I'm in agreement about the deer population and even though I could no way shoot one of them... I'm not averse to dining on a bit of venison cooked by somebody who knows what she/he is doing. ;-)
BTW - this really is a little fellow. The fence is the one between us & the campground up north. It's only about 4 feet high... I think.
