It's the first day of Winter!
..and the weather guy is finally predicting a warm-up! Yes you heard that right. He says it might warm up to freezing temperatures by Christmas Day.
Youngest and shyest of my furry little family... AmyLou Mae decided she likes the new bedspread. Isn't she just the cutest little thing? The bedspread is one of the oldest new things I've ever had. I started crocheting it in the early 1980's - for a king-sized bed. Don't remember why I set it aside but I'm sure glad now! I put it on the single bed I'm using right now... and it's a perfect fit!

LUKE 2:8-12
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
